Did you know disposable coffee cups aren’t recyclable?

Although they look like they’re made from paper the majority of them have a plastic lining which can’t be recycled and won’t break down in landfill. It’s estimated that over a billion coffee cups will be thrown away in Australia every year.

A simple way to reduce the effects of your coffee habit on the environment is to bring your own reusable cup. This is why I started making my ceramic coffee cups, they’re a unique alternative to mass produced plastic cups. They are 100% handmade, each one is wheel thrown, glazed and fired in my North Melbourne studio. Each one comes with a non-toxic silicone lid and is microwave and dishwasher safe.

Enjoy a guilt-free morning brew in your very own handmade ceramic cup!
